Difficulty: Medium

Meet at the Planachaux road parking lot, then check equipment and get to know the team. Depart from Les Parses (Planachaux road) for a trek of about 2.5 hours to La Croix d’Increne.

Aperitif and picnic at La Croix.

Then return via the Sé Blanc ridge to rejoin the Planachaux road below.

A valley on the French-Swiss border steeped in smuggling history, with the Dents Blanche and Midi mountains as a backdrop.

DAY 1

Ascent to the Col de Cou and descent via the Croix d’Incere

Equipment: Anti-sweat underwear, warm and waterproof clothing for jacket and trousers, snowshoes, sticks, 1.5L water bottle, thermos flask, 20L bag, winter shoes.

Difficulty: 6 km – 575m ascent + / Return 4.7 km – 585m descent –

  • 08:30 – Check-up and departure from the Parking de la route de Planachaux (Possibility to be picked up by car from Montreux).
  • 09:30 – Break half-way.
  • 11:30 – Arrival at the top of La Croix.
  • 11:45 – Aperitif and local products with history of the place.
  • 13:00 – Departure for the descent to Planafrâche.
  • 14:00 – Break and final descent on the Planachaux road.
  • 15:30 – Arrival at the Parking de la route de Planachaux.
