As we make our way on snowshoes, we’ll take the time to traverse pristine landscapes, enjoy the tranquility of the mountains, and admire magnificent panoramic views of the surrounding peaks.
Our adventure will take us to the Sorniot cabin, a true haven of peace nestled in the heart of the mountains. A wonderful opportunity to share a convivial moment, enjoy the warm atmosphere of the refuge, and experience authentic nature up close.
Combining physical exertion, wonder, and camaraderie, this trip promises a rejuvenating winter getaway—far from the daily grind and close to the mountains.
Meet at the Ovronnaz ski lift parking lot. We’ll make a long traverse across the Combe de l’Euloi, then climb to the Col de Fenestral. From there, we’ll descend to the Lac-Inférieur de Fully, where the Sorniot Cabin is located—your lodging at 2,064 meters, with breathtaking views of the Valais Alps.
The cabin is unstaffed in winter. Far from any amenities, we’ll need to bring our own food and drinks, melt snow for water, and stoke the stove : )
